Thursday January 17th
This is the first History Society meeting of 2019, at 7.30pm in the Scout and Guide Hall.
Baptists and Buttons
Local well-known resident Alan Paterson will present an intriguing talk called 'Baptists and Buttons'. This will be based on a book written recently by him. (Signed copies will be on sale at the meeting for £9).
Alan's talk tells part of the social history of Audlem over 300 years through the eyes of just 3 families brought together by love and belief, tragedy and trade.
All will be revealed at our meeting so do come and join us.
Gentle reminder- our annual subscription of £12 will be due at this meeting.
