Meeting on November 14th postponed.

The Turnpike Field working group had previously planned to hold a Public Meeting on November 14th- this is now postponed.

The two main objectives for the meeting are to allow the community to review the plans for the car park and for the wildlife ponds that are to be sponsored by Cheshire Wildlife Trust (see AOL article here.

However, the recent floods in the field mean that the location of the ponds need to be discussed further with CWT to minimise the chance of future floods damaging the ponds' wildlife. In view of this it has been decided to delay the date of the next Public Meeting until the new year.

It is also hoped that by then, further details regarding the construction of the car park will also be available.
