Buerton Parish council has been approached by PCSO Jarvis regarding a community speed watch scheme.

This would involve members of the community volunteering to assist in running the scheme by using a hand held laser speed device in relevant areas and times where it has been noted that vehicles are travelling in excess of the speed limit. Cheshire police will then be able to issue warning letters to the registered keeper of the vehicle which will help to reduce speeding through our village and make it safer for our community.

Buerton parish council will be happy to purchase all the relevant equipment if our community is interested in assisting. Anyone interested could they please e mail buertonclerk@hotmail.co.uk or phone Kathryn Poultney on 07525471548 or Liz Riley on 07988752030.
