Tremendous Test Efforts!

Our Year 6 children have been working hard all week on their assessments. They completed their final tests yesterday and I am tremendously proud of the way they prepared for and tackled these assessments. Thanks to all the staff and parents/carers who have supported them in their preparations for these tests and thank you to all of the children who have given their all in each test.

Thank you to everyone who supported our 'Hero' day today to raise funds for our link school in Africa. There have been some wonderful outfits around school today as the children and staff have really entered the spirit of things all for a good cause!

The children from ABC Pre School are regular visitors to school this term as they prepare to join school in September. Amethyst class continue to welcome them to their class worship each Thursday and they regularly join us for whole school worship. The children have also been joining Amethyst class on Wednesday mornings for additional visits with ABC staff to become familiar with their new classroom. They will also be sharing a few PE lessons with Amethyst class, as all of the children prepare for Sports Day. We look forward to welcoming the children for more of these special visits next week and after half term.
