Rodney Cottrell on Audlem Lass
St.James Church
Rodney's Collection Box

We have published several tributes to Rodney Cottrell BEM and so we thought we would just remind readers of the arrangements for his funeral.
This will take place at St. James Church, Audlem at 11.00am on Thursday 29th October.

Inevitably because of COVID restrictions the number in the Church will be restricted but it is suggested that people/organisations with whom Rodney has been involved over the years may wish to line the route to Audlem Cemetery following the Church Service, ensuring social distancing of course.

Furthermore Rodney's family have arranged for the service to be live streamed and can be viewed here .
The reception when live streaming may be difficult because of the local phone link strength, but a video will be available at the end of the day via the same link which we suggest you view using the internet.

We understand that should people wish to contribute to Rodney's charities RNLI / Wheelyboat Services leaflets will be available and a collection box placed in Williams newsagents.

The Methodist Church said farewell to two old friends today.Just a few months ago we became aware that our Blue Atlas Cedar had a serious disease.
