Playing fields dog control sign

There has been a complaint from a resident complaining about inconsiderate dog owners on the footpath from Sandy Lane/Bath Lane junction towards the old School.

This resident's elderly father was threatened recently when he challenged someone with five dogs running all over the fields, and asked the dog owner to keep to the path and follow the Countryside code.

Our community police have been informed.

The message is — please keep dogs under control and adhere to the Countryside Code when using footpaths in the village.
