According to a Cheshire East press release, Cheshire East have obtained funding for a study of the case for a Middlewich bypass.
Since the Middlewich Road and the A556 are regularly used by Audlem residents as an alternative route to get to junction 19 of the M6, there might be some interest in the consultation process.
There will be three public consultation events hosted by Cheshire East Council.
These will take place at St. Mary's Church Parish Hall, New King Street, on Thursday, August 25 (12noon — 8pm), Saturday, September 3 (10am — 5pm) and Tuesday, September 13 (12noon to 8pm).
An exhibition will also be available to view at Middlewich Library between August 15 and September 16 and can be viewed online at here where feedback forms are also available.
