Further to the article on Jo & Allan at The Lord C, I would like to add that they came to the rescue twice for two of the groups run by ADCA.
Firstly the coffee club run on Friday mornings were made homeless due to the closure of Thornton House ready for re development. Jo, Allan and team were kind enough to let the club meet at the pub and this still carry's on today.
Secondly they came to the rescue of the Tuesday day club, allowing it to meet for 9 months, with an excellent lunch, whilst the Hankelow Chapel was having building work done, this enabled the older people to carry on meeting their friends sharing time together.
Their generosity and kindness really did keep the clubs going at the time.
