I discovered this evening
How close we have become
To, and with, our neighbours
These last few weeks have brought us
At 8 o'clock prompt, many of us were
standing at our doorsteps —
Clapping our hands till the palms of our hands ached!
Waving too, like never before!
Feeling a sense of love and heartfelt gratitude
Winging its way too -------
All the N.H.S. Doctors, Nurses, Carers and Volunteers
Brave bands of this human race
Giving their 'All' to help
In this, our hour of need
A dire time.
