Hot on the heels of the news of England's dramatic win over Colombia in the World Cup, comes the information that our report of Audlem FC's impressive 4-2 win on Sunday was wildly inaccurate.
In fact, Ralph informs us, the final score was an amazing 5-2 to Audlem, the extra goal being scored by Man of the Match Danny Mahoney.
Whether this change was due to a last minute VAR review, or just that in all the excitement our reporter simply lost count, is not clear.
