On Saturday March 30th, the History Society is holding one of its themed get together/ information gathering / reminiscing gatherings.

The Subject is the local bands and dances of the late 1950's to late 1960's.

Several members of local groups such as Derek and Giff and the Kondors hope to be there and we want their fans and those who attended the dances to come along, enjoy free refreshments and chat.

Any photos, tickets, posters or newspaper cuttings would be appreciated. Society members will take notes, photograph and record the event for the Audlem on line website archive.

Did you dance upstairs in the Lord Combermere? And in the Town Hall? or elsewhere locally?

10.30am to 12.30pm — please note the date, if you can't make it but want to tell us something please contact any member of the History Society.
