Have you lost a dog?

This was originally posted as a chatbox item late last night, but didn't get onto the website until this morning.

We've just (10pm Monday 28th) found a small dog on the B5071 (between The Boars Head, Walgherton & the Nantwich/Audlem road).

She is small, reddish, long body and short legs. She has a collar with no name tag. I've phoned the vet but there's no-one there to see if she has an ID chip.

Please share this in the hope we can find her owner asap.

She's with us for tonight so is safe.

When is a Dandelion not a Dandelion? by Adrian LeightonIt is said that a weed is a plant in the wrong place, and this is no more true than of the common Dandelion. I am a strong member (possibly only member) of the DDL (the Dandelion Defence League). It needs my support, for tap in "dandelion" on your web browser and the majority of sites which come up are about how to get rid of it...
