Saturday 30th November

The Grove Singers, a community choir based in Crewe, will be coming to the Methodist Church to perform a modern cantata of the Dickens classic story of "A Christmas Carol" on Saturday 30th November at 2.30pm.

This retelling through song, without narration, of the Dickens story, draws on a wide variety of styles — some old, some new — whilst also incorporating well-loved carols that would have been known in Victorian England.

It is at the same time contemporary and rich in tradition.

Come and join what promises to be a great musical concert.

The tickets are now on sale for £6 which includes tea and cake at the end of the concert, available from Julia Parton on 01270 811761 or Sheila Jones on 01270 811643.
