- Fact - 80% of "out of hospital" cardiac arrests occur in the home.
- Fact — immediate "bystander" CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation) gives the best chance of survival while somebody else goes to find a defibrillator.
- Fact — there are 7 defibrillators in Audlem and more in the surrounding villages. (Do you know where they are? Do you know how to access them? Do you know how to use a defibrillator?)
- Countries with highest rates of out of hospital cardiac arrest survival rates are those which have strengthened all 4 links in the chain of survival-
