Bridge Inn

To the busy body who reported the Bridge Inn at Audlem for being open during these unprecedented times, you could not have been more wrong. The Bridge Inn at Audlem closed on the 20th March 2020 on instruction from the government and has not opened for 1 second since for any reason whatsoever.

I suggest the person who has wrongly reported this should come and apologise to me in person. Unfortunately, this would be highly unlikely as the type of person who makes spurious claims like this is not the type of person who will want to identify themselves.

I know everyone is bored, but please spare a thought for the people in the licensed trade who have enough to contend with how we will pay our bills, staff salaries etc, not to mention without any personal income.

Think about what you are doing next time before you rush to the phone making unfounded accusations.
