We have been sent this by a local resident who makes this plea:
As a dog owner myself I understand the inconvenience of picking up and disposing of dog poo. But surely we have to accept it is a responsibility of living in a civilised society, along with caring for the environment.
So would the person who is disposing of their dog poo in the base of a hedge by a well-walked path at Copthorne please stop doing so.
