I'm looking for loving home for two gorgeous cats called Toby & Marley (see pictures). They are approximately 10 years old, fully vaccinated and have no known health issues. They are extremely loving and cuddly with humans (which is rare), and they absolutely adore each other, so I will only be rehoming them as a pair.
I took them on a couple of months ago as a friend of mine was in a difficult situation where she was unable to continue caring for them and began contacting charities to try to rehome them. Due to Covid, she struggled to find a charity to take them on and the charities that would accept them had told her that the cats may need to be split up in order for them to be rehomed which would have been devastating, so I decided to give them a home.
I have a dog (who is fine with cats) so naively I didn't anticipate any major issues. Unfortunately, the cats are absolutely terrified of my dog and are hostile towards her whenever they are in the same vicinity which has led me to have to keep them separated. It is with a heavy heart that I have come to the decision that I cannot provide the best home for them, as they deserve to be somewhere that they feel safe and comfortable -- somewhere that is free of other dogs and cats.
These cats are extremely low maintenance and whoever adopts them will fall in love with them. They're absolutely wonderful, great with humans and they have such unique personalities.
Both are outdoor cats but initially they will have to be kept indoors for about a month so that they get used to their home before letting them out.
I have lots of cat related items including a litter tray, some toys, bowls, scratch posts and carriers that I will of course pass on to the new owners.
Please contact me if you would like any further information.
