An apology

Some months ago, the whizzkid behind the technicalities of AudlemOnline developed a clever trick so that we, the editors, could alter the orientation of photos submitted with buy/sell items. These arrive sideways, upside-down whatever, and we could easily put them to rights.

Recently this clever scheme has gone awry, we believe as a side-effect of the changes which browsers have recently introduced with SSL certificates and so on.

So until our technical team gets a new damp towel to wrap round its brain while it works out a solution, these pictures will appear with whatever orientation they happen to have when they get to us.

Apologies for this — for now you will just have to stand on your head or lie on the floor to see the photos as they should be.
