Check your bin collection days
Cheshire east have sent round new calendars of bin collections — for most of Audlem, as far as we have been able to establish, this means a change from Tuesday morning collection to Monday morning collection.
Not only that but at the changeover, the pattern of collection will be disrupted as well.
Thus, for both your editors (who live at opposite sides of the village), the household waste bin collection (black bin) on Tuesday 29th October will be followed by another black bin collection on Monday 4th November. The pattern of black bin collection one week and then grey and green bins the following week, and so on, will then be followed.
Unfortunately the Cheshire East website still shows the old calendar in its postcode enquiry page.
Bins will have to be out by 6.30am under the new regime.
