Retirement of Ann Bowles from Audlem Charity Shop
Having worked in the shop for 22 years, 19 of those as Chair, Ann has decided it's time to retire.
She has worked tirelessly to raise thousands of pounds for our local charities, supported by very enthusiastic volunteers.
She has helped to raise the profile of the shop, making it now, a respected and very well supported part of the village.
She will be greatly missed but we welcome Helen Beardshall as our new interim Chair and look forward to working with her.
At a small and COVID secure gathering, Ann was presented with a marvellous cake.
EDITORS NOTE — We are sure that the whole village wishes Ann a very happy and well deserved retirement, and thanks her for all of her commitment to the charity shop.
