Very first match of the new season and a friendly arranged by our Skipper against a team from Manchester, named the Danny's .

AFC well supported with 17 players, all in their new kit as sponsored by The Lord C, The New Deli and Barn India of Woore, all very willing and very welcome sponsors .

Teams gather at 10:15. Out on to African dry pitch with newly refurbished posts set upright by ever willimg Kev Mort
Game clean and played with gusto. Water bottles much in demand

Result AFC win 4-2

Good result, for first time out with some teeth. Our star strikers are Mark Parker and Andrew Betley with two each. and Danny (Man of the Match) Mahoney also threatening.
