Hankelow Chapel

A growing and lively all-age group gets together in Hankelow Chapel Community Hall every Wednesday from 11.30am to 3.30pm for coffee and chat, a light two course lunch and activity sessions.

All welcome

A warm welcome awaits whether you come just for coffee and chat, just for lunch, just for the activities — or all three! A small charge is made for coffee and lunch

A monthly programme of activities includes speakers, craft sessions, iPad training, musical events, short walks and exercise — and suggestions for other activities are always welcome. Children accompanied by a parent or guardian are also welcome.

Forthcoming Wednesday afternoon activity sessions starting at about 2pm are:

  • 19th June — play 'Bocca' a new game for some
  • 26th June — a gentle walk around Hankelow
  • 3rd July — Speaker: Chris Knibbs on keeping bees
  • 10th July — ICT including Ipads, iPhone and everything digital
  • 17th July — Quiz
  • 24th July — another gently walk around Hankelow
  • 31st July — Musical event with guests

ADCA are able to run the Lunch and Activity Group with New Homes Bonus funding from Cheshire East Council as well as charitable donations from a range of local shops and parish councils.
