Given the fantastic turn-out of 18 happy volunteers on Sunday 20 Oct we got the planned work completed, which means we get to have a lie-in tomorrow. Some of us may need it after Saturday's rugby matches!
And a special thank you and welcome to our two new volunteers front and centre in the picture.
Our next call-out for volunteers will be Sunday 3 Nov. The work planned is for two new exciting projects -- one being the garden at the Public Hall flat and the other is to give an Alan Titchmarsh-over to the garden at the Doctor's surgery.
Both of which will, hopefully, give us extra points for next year's judging. Yes, we're already planning for that.
Speaking of judging -- we will get to know next Friday, 1 Nov, what award we achieved this finger. Please all -- keep thinking shiny gold thoughts with fingers crossed.
Please put Sunday 3 Nov in your diaries for 1000hrs with a meet at the entrance to the car park.
Enjoy your weekend.
