Following last year's successful tidying work around the Village it was decided at the recent Audlem in Bloom meeting to arrange several sessions to clear weeds and leaves on the paths in Audlem during 2019.
- The first of these sessions is on Saturday 2nd March from 10am to 12 noon.
- All volunteers to meet under the Buttermarket.
- There will be refreshments during the morning.
If you would like to be involved please bring any useful tools, such as spades, shovels, brushes and large rubbish bags, with you.
The aim is to clear leaves and generally tidy the paths from Windmill Drive to Green Lane. Subject to the number of volunteers who turn up we may also work in the Car Park.
If you have identified any other areas which need attention please let me know by phoning: 01270 811283 (Neil Goodyear) or email: firstname.lastname@example.org
Also the dates for planting the summer bedding have been arranged so that all the work is completed prior to the Music and Arts Festival. These are as follows:
- Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th May from 9.30am to 12.30pm — remove pansies and bulbs
- Saturday 18th and Sunday 19th May from 9.30am to 12.30pm — plant summer bedding
All volunteers are most welcome on these dates — if you would like more information about these and other ADAS activities please visit our website at: adasaudlem.org or our entry in the Directories section on Audlem On Line
