As Chatbox regulars will have noted, the Hankelow Cottage seems to be no more.
We have had confirmation that the Indian restaurant, previously the White Lion pub in the centre of Hankelow, is closed but few other details.
The restaurant has operated under a number of names in the past few years and we are sure local fans of the Hankelow Cottage will be very sorry to read this news.
Hankelow residents, in particular, will miss the monthly charity nights that saw the restaurant packed.
