Julie Hesketh writes: "We know you're a stylish lot in Audlem so don't forget your tickets for the ADAS Fashion Show next week. It's on Thursday 13th November 7.30pm at the Public Hall.
"Our local models selected their outfits last night and it will certainly be a great show. There will be daywear, cocktail/dinner wear and full evening wear being shown. Petals and Pearls of Woore have a fantastic selection of clothes at great prices — for all ages, that will be available to try and buy on the night. Also, with their wonderful selection of accessories and gift items, there will be opportunity to purchase Christmas gifts and some festive cheer for yourself.
"There are scarves, shoes, bags, jewellery aplenty. The clothes range from strappy tops and smart jeans to beaded and silk cocktail dresses and gowns — jumpers, cardigans and coats- everything to brighten the short days.
"Braids of Audlem will be showcasing their hair and beauty services, pampering our models and bringing along a selection of their products for you to buy too.
"And all this whilst helping to raise money for ADAS funds, which among other things brighten the village with Summer flowers, Christmas lights, canalside English bluebells (coming in Spring!) and trees and benches and all-important help to many of Audlem's clubs, societies and amenities.
"Come and support us and have a great night. Tickets £5 include wine, or soft drink, and nibbles, from any committee member, William's Newsagents or call 811686. "
