We hope you are enjoying the new Audlem Online. It's worth exploring the layout and finding new features like podcasts.

In the previous version, we lost the weather section for a long while as it became more difficult to get our forecasts from the Buerton Broadcasting Corporation. Now, with Version IV, not only do you get a five day forecast, there's also a record of the days' weather gone by — which we expect will be a wee more accurate than the forecasts!

Simply click on the weather symbol — it can vary depending on the forecast — near the top left of the Homepage and you will find the detailed forecast and weather log.

If you have any news, please email it in. We plan to bring you, as ever, local news every day of the year. Problem is, with phone hacking and bribes no longer allowed — Lord Leveson, don't you just love him — we are having to work harder all the time to find out what's really going on in Audlem and district.

Seriously, do send in your news stories, ideas and suggestions to editor@audlem.org or record your story on our new 24-hour answerphone service on 0845 862 0314
