The world's financial markets may be in turmoil but the Footsie 100 was going only one way in Audlem yesterday. A narrowboat called the Footsie 100 was seen heading southwards up through the locks in Audlem late in the afternoon.
As the topically named craft was only half way up the lock system as dusk fell, one near certainty in these troubled times of such wildly fluctuating share prices, is that the Footsie can only go one way today in Audlem.
