Imagine it's New Year's morning and what better way to shake off the effects of the previous night's celebrations than by competing for the Hangover Trophy at Brookfield Golf Club.
Organised by the BAGS (Burleydam and Audlem Golf Society), it's a very popular tournament with over 50 local golfers — ladies and gentlemen — playing in 2005 with a lunch afterwards for the players and their spouses. Any money left over after the prizes is donated to charity.
The rules can be found on the BAGS page on the website, here at present on the Homepage to the bottom right. Please contact either Harry Knapper on 01270 811544 or John Cooke on 01270 811542 to sign up for the very first Audlem event of 2006.
