The high winds have caused problems and blockages on many roads including the Woore Road from Audlem near the Cheshire/Shropshire border.

Another casualty has been one of the old larch trees alongside the canal which has been uprooted and has fallen eastwards away from the canal. Trees have also been uprooted in some local gardens.

During this strange time, please be mindful that farmers of which there are many in and around Audlem are key workers and are working tirelessly to maintain food stocks.
