Speaker: Linda Clarke, Cheshire Archives and Local Studies

A talk which looks at the picture postcard, the most popular means of communication during the period, prior to the arrival of the telephone.

We will look at types of card, stamps, postmarks and messages, which reveal a lot about the sender and recipient. Light refreshments available.

Tuesday July 14th 2:30 — 4pm at Nantwich Library — please telephone Nantwich Library on 01270 375361 to book.

This exhibition uses material from the Cheshire Archives and Local Studies service, in conjunction with Cheshire East Reflects and Cheshire East
