Genevieve from Energy Projects Plus, a registered charity, writes: "We are having an energy efficiency advice event in Audlem on Friday 14th September. We have borrowed the County Council's Oscar Vehicle and are setting up next to the Public Hall.

"We will be on hand to tell people all about grants, discounts and cash backs in the area to help with installing energy saving measures. We will also have information on renewable energy for any residents who want to do their bit and not just push for the hydro- generation in the Canal.

"There will be free energy efficient light bulbs and you can even work out your own carbon footprint — but bring your electricity and other heating bills with you."
