Digital TV switchover

The final stage of digital TV switchover in this area is now apparently complete.

In the early hours of this morning a lot of channels went off the air as the last part of the changeover to the Winter Hill transmitter was done.

You may well need to retune your TV/DVD/digibox to get these "disappeared" channels properly tuned back in. Sometimes this happens automatically, but if not there is a pdf file containing information about the retuning process on the digitaluk website —

After the automatic retuning is complete, you should have the channels you expect, but if needed there is also advice on how to retune manually on the digitaluk website

With any luck we will not now have the Welsh stations in our living rooms unless we specifically tune into them!
