The Public Hall tonight at 6.45pm sees a four-fold celebration of recent Audlem success. Glasses will be raised to the Parish Council being the first local council to win Quality Council status; to the launch of the Audlem Parish Plan; to the village winning the national DEFRA award for Building Community Life and to Audlem becoming the North of England Village of the Year.

The event is being attended by many dignitaries including the Mayor of Crewe & Nantwich, Councillor Maureen Grant; Eddisbury MP, Stephen O'Brien and senior representatives from Cheshire County Council, Crewe & Nantwich Council, Cheshire Community Council and the Cheshire Association of Local Councils.

All are warmly invited to an event that should last about an hour.
