A reminder that the Co-operative food store is closed today and until 11th December for a major refit.
As publicised over recent days, Audlem's traders are making up for the closure by stocking products and taking orders for many of the staples normally available at the Co-op. If you haven't been using these other shops, it's an ideal time to try them out.
If you are unsure where you might be able to locate household and grocery items during the temporary Coop Closure please ring Williams' Newsagents and they will do their best to advise you where these might best be located.
Call 01270- 811210, 6.30 am to 6.30pm daily Monday-Sunday.
Peter Kay has also contacted AudlemOnline reminding those that do need to leave the village for something not available locally about the 73 bus service. He says:
"The local shops are pulling out all the stops to help the village through the Co-op closure but if you need cash or extra provisions here are some useful bus times for a short trip to Whitchurch or Nantwich.
All timings out are from the Square in Audlem but the 73 bus will stop anywhere.
Whitchurch: Out 09.31 back 10.20 or 11.20 gives 30mins or an hour.
Out 13.31 back 14.20 gives 30mins
Nantwich: Out 10.38 back 12.05 both give just over an hour.
Out 11.38 back 13.05
Other trips are possible and Wednesday times are different. See up-to-date timetable here
Stopping at the Station in Nantwich shortens the walk to the shops.
