This week's Chronicle gives a full page of coverage to the Audlem Carnival and Music & Arts Festival. With six photographs, the report says that 3,000 visitors flocked to a bigger and better event in the village.
Audlem Carnival Queen Lauren Sandon and her attendants are pictured with retiring Carnival Queen Jenny Lightfoot while young Riley Capewell, dressed as a rat catcher, also gets a super photo. The Audlem Tree House Nursery children, the Audlem 5As drama group and the dance troupes and Samba band are pictured too.
The Chronicle singles out the performances by the children of St James' school and the Audlem Voices for their excellent performances in the Church as well as the art exhibitions and the visit of the Nantwich Players.
