The celebration of Audlem Parish Council gaining the first local Quality Council award; the launch of the Parish Plan and the village winning the national DEFRA award and the Calor Northern Village of the Year award is attracting interest around the county.
The event in the Public Hall, starting at 6.45pm on Friday 20th January, will be attended by the Mayor of Crewe & Nantwich, Councillor Maureen Grant; Eddisbury MP Stephen O'Brien; Roger Parkin, chairman of the Cheshire Association of Local Councils; Jenny Cross, the head of Finance for Crewe & Nantwich Borough Council; Sylvia Batty and Louise Hare from Cheshire Community Council as well as local councillors and other guests from around Cheshire.
All are warmly welcome. The event should last around an hour so a good night out afterwards can still be slotted into busy diaries! So try and get along and celebrate the village's success in the last year.
