Today, hopefully, there could be a fine sight passing through Audlem. On Thursday the Tour Britannia, a cavalcade of historic cars is scheduled to pass through the village.
This prestigious race tour is for historic cars built before 1976. The 'race' element takes place at a selection of Britain's finest racing circuits, hill climbs and stately homes. There is no racing on public roads and the cars will drive slowly through Audlem.
We are told that the cars will be in the Audlem area between 9.00am and 10.10am this morning and also from 12.30pm to 1.40pm this afternoon. Further details are available on the Tour's website at www.tourbritannia.com(The website link that was here no longer works)
