A little sad yesterday, some nice people/person has stolen our Westfalia (Machine 7) roof rack off Harry our VW Camper van that is often parked in Vicarage Lane.
They also have damaged the rain gutters as well as trying to rip his visor off and the period spotlights.
To all our VW dub friends especially BEWARE and as you know, if offered one, please let me know. It is distinctively marked which I can confirm with you on how to check.
That apart, we have on numerous occasions contacted Cheshire East about the lighting in Vicarage Lane. The lamp has not been repaired since reporting this once the dark nights drew in.
We were advised that it was not a high priority. You can imagine we feel that it is, as theft is one aspect of poorly lit area. The other being the poor surface of the lane its self, makes it hard to walk up and down during daylight, never mind when it is pitch black.
