Quiz nights are all the rage this week in Audlem's pubs. Tonight, it's the well-established Shroppie Fly Tuesday night quiz with Tony Lynch posing the questions. Tomorrow night, in the Bridge Inn, there's a Wednesday night quiz starting at 9.00pm while on Thursday, also in the Bridge, there's the new quiz night hosted by Ralph Warburton and Mike Haines.

The Thursday night quiz used to be held at the White Lion, Hankelow, but with the sad news that the White Lion closed at the weekend, Ralph and Mike have transfered their competition over to the Bridge. It consists of seven rounds of 10 questions starting at 09.00pm. There are prizes of wine or beer and a free buffet at 10.00pm.
