It's the regular Friday Night fortnightly Bingo tomorrow evening in the Public Hall with your hosts Geoff and Olive Stretch. It's a friendly and sociable evening and you will be made very welcome. Eyes Down at 7.30pm.
Bingo fans are also in to an additional treat a week on Friday with a special session of Bingo that has been arranged in the Public Hall on Friday April 12th, to be hosted (or possibly hostessed) by Olive Stretch who is very keen to see as large a turnout as possible.
The proceeds of this special Bingo session will go to the Appeal for funds to replace the lead that was stolen from the roof of St James' Church last year.
The repairs will cost about £25,000 and this is one of many fund-raising events being held in and around the Village.
Last week, for example, Audlem 5A Drama Group donated £100 to the Rev Helen Chantry for her sponsored walk on Tuesday 2nd April 2013 in Aid of the Church Roof. As reported yesterday, Helen's 26-mile walk from Audlem to Chester has raised £800+ and the total is still rising.
The fortnightly Bingo will continue on Friday 19th April meaning there are three Bingo Friday night sessions in a row.
