Audlem Saints U8's beat Nantwich Diabolos 1-0 on Sunday. In a close game both teams showed skillful touches and a willingness to pass the ball around. There were plenty of chances in an exciting, end to end game. The decisive moment came at the end of a spell of Diabolo pressure when three quick, accurate passes saw Audlem break away and score the only goal of the game. This was Audlem's second win in succession and there are clear signs of progress over the 16 games played so far. In the first 8 games, Audlem won only once whilst in the most recent 8 games they have been beaten only three times. Well done boys, you are doing the village proud!

I am a strong member (possibly only member) of the DDL (the Dandelion Defence League). It needs my support, for tap in "dandelion" on your web browser and the majority of sites which come up are about how to get rid of it...
