Audlem Saints U8s win again

Audlem Saints kicked off a new year by blasting eight goals past Cheshire Blades and stretching the unbeaten run to 15 games. The boys started the game a little slowly, perhaps suffering from eating too much chocolate and spending too many Xmas hours on the Playstation! After going one up with a well taken free kick, it took the shock of an equaliser from Cheshire Blades to provoke the good football that Audlem are capable of. When they did pass and move quiclky, it was good to watch and each of the three periods saw Audlem in control. A first ever hat trick for one player and first ever goal for another meant that all left the field with something to celebrate. Not the best performance but one which means that Audlem approach the last 3 games of this competition having played 15, won 12 and drawn 3.

Next week, it's Nantwich Bears at 11.15 am.
