Audlem left powerless by Scots
By Audlem Webteam - 3rd December 2005 6:11pm
Parts of Audlem are still without power after almost 24 hours as Scottish Power have been unable to restore electricity supplies.
This has resulted in the closure of the Old Priest House for the whole of today and the Village Store was also forced to close for part of the day. Another unfortunate effect, apart from the dark, the cold and defrosting freezers, has been the impact on the Christmas illuminations which were scheduled to be switched on today.
At the time of writing there is still no news on when power will be restored.
