There has been extensive coverage of Audlem by the local newspapers this week. The Nantwich Guardian has stories on the battle to save Buerton school; the £16,000 raised by the Audlem Aid charity shop and the shop's fundraising plans for this year. The village's plans to improve its sports facilities, quoting Roland Hall's comments on Audlem Online (see 'Articles'), by 2012 and the bid for funding support from Crewe & Nantwich Borough Council are also featured. The Market Drayton Advertiser pictures Audlem resident Dave Hodgkins in a story about the community car service in Market Drayton which he has helped to fund while the Nantwich Chronicle has featured Audlem's invitation to compete for a £20,000 prize in the Calor sponsored 'Best of the Best' competition.
