Ralph Warburton from ASET, the Audlem Special Events Team, writes: "The Festival Of Transport takes place on July 27th. I write to assure those who like this event that there will be no charge to the drivers at all. We had to take the decision to ask for £5 last year as we were facing a financial problem but no more will we make such a charge.
"So owners of the lovely vehicles who wish to take part in this very popular event can come along and enjoy it to the full. Entry invitations have now been sent out to all the names we have on record."
