Despite an excellent bowling and fielding performance, Audlem's 2nd XI lost to Aston CC in the semi-final of the League Knockout. Darren Carrington (3 for 18) and Geoff Seddon (3 for 25) were the pick of the bowlers as Aston were restricted to 166 for 9 in their 40 overs.
In reply, Audlem's batsmen never got going and were all out for 107.
Aston now play Northwich in the final, which will be held at Audlem's ground on Sunday 28th August, starting at 2pm.
