ASET, the Audlem Specail Events Team, is still eager to hear your ideas about a major event next year, ideally involving a communal 'picnic', as at the Proms.

As AudlemOnline reported last month after it was announced there wouldn't be a Proms in the Park next year: ASET then said: "There WILL be another popular "picnic in the park" event next summer. The ASET team is totally committed to putting on an annual outdoor event — and the format for 2009 will be different. Suggestions are invited from everyone, so get your thinking hats on and pass your ideas (big and small) to any member of the ASET team."

Do get your suggestions to ASET members or, if any are sent to Audlem Online, they will be passed immediately to the Special Events Team.
