It may be over the border, but it's our nearest neighbour and is little more than a mile away. Today, Adderley is holding its Summer Fair & Barbecue in their Village Hall from 12 noon until 2.30pm. There's a barbeque and bar, ice cream, home-made cakes, a sale of garden plants, face-painting, pony rides, a produce competition, bouncy castle, a raffle and tombola.
They are also installing some stocks and asking for suggestions as to who should be put in them!
The event is organsied by the Friends of Adderley School and Adderley Village Hall.
