A date just added to the major Events list on AudlemOnline is the ADAS Open Gardens weekend.
The Audlem Open Gardens event takes place every other year and in 2015 will be on 27th and 28th June.
The weekend gives residents and visitors, and some visitors travel a surprisingly long distance, a chance to see other people's gardens at the height of summer — a pleasant enough thought in the depths of winter.
ADAS are looking for a range of local gardens — large, small, attractive, unusual, stimulating, neat or with interesting wildlife — to add to the list to make this an varied weekend.
If you would like to join in and consider adding your garden to the list, please contact David Latchford on email@example.com
